Dear Judy,

Thank you so much for my wonderful weekend stay at your marvelous Back in Thyme. You have one of the best B and B’s that I have ever experienced. And as I mentioned earlier, your sign upstairs really is true: “Arrive as strangers, leave as friends”. My stay at your house made my entire reunion in Spring Hill a grand experience. I thank you for many treats: the tasty and beautiful breakfast, the lovely room with a very comfortable bed, the fabulous house and especially the sun room with the big windows, your thoughtful company, and drinking good red wine on your veranda, while the lightning bugs sparkled the night. Your Back in Thyme is the reason that my trip to Kansas was so memorable.

My trip to Kansas City was OK. Your directions were perfect and I arrived much earlier than my friend had expected. She gave me a great tour of the highlights of Kansas City and we even went into the art museum to see the three attached panels of Monet’s “Waterlilies”. Dinner was also good, especially since there were fresh vegetables that I had not eaten in the two dinners that I had in Spring Hill. When the conversation turned to politics, I held my tongue until one outrageous comment needed at least a comment.

I am home in Rochester. If my husband and I travel to Kansas, the first place we go will be chez-toi.

Fondly, Lorraine

Dear Judy,

I am not sure where to begin.  Our experience at your beautiful bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations.  From the moment we pulled up to your home, we knew it would be a special experience.  The 10 acres surrounding it were so well kept and it made you really want to stroll over to your pond and sit for awhile or sit on your porch and have your coffee and just look out at the scenery. Your home is beautiful….and meticulous!!  That is huge for us.  There was not a speck of dust to be seen! Then, of course, there was our room that had everything we needed plus pure comfort. What was just the most fun was having breakfast in your lovely dining room at a table with the other guests.  It was such fun meeting the others and we actually stayed at that table much longer than we should have but, as I said, we were having so much fun.

Thank you for letting us in your gracious home and offering us your gracious hospitality.  We felt like we made many new friends and many precious memories.

Sincerely, Debby from Louisville
